My Day

I woke up this morning with a 'Happy Valentine' wish. It was simple but enough to make me feel warm and happy inside. Thank you.

I tried something to make the day feel more 'celebrated' but it didn't work out well and I felt a bit disappointed but I guess it's okay since everyday is a lovey day for me. [smile.smile.]

Then, I spend the night of Valentine's day this year following up with my business partner on a business that I'm currently developing and while I was on my way to meet them, it came across my mind that this is just one of the many things that I may need to sacrifice later along the journey for me to become a successful person. I'll be spending my 28th birthday this year on a business conference in KL and there goes another special day without close friends and loved one. I just hope they will understand what and why I'm doing this for myself now and still support me all the way.

I stop expecting too much from anything or anyone a long time ago that if something didn't happen or not what it should be, I can deal with it much better now. I just let it go and still try my best anyway. I know this might not make any sense to any of you. A lot of other things are all in my head but I just feel the need to type it up, lest I forget that I once thought and felt this way.

Till then. Don't worry. And be happy. [smile]

Holiday Mood Is In The Air

I think I found a destination to bring my mom for her first time out-of-country travel for next year. If all go well, I hope I can make it as a surprise birthday gift or something. :) I thought about it while thinking of my own travel plan (Wel, pigi Vietnam ka tu kau bilang next year?). I'm going to take her to apply for a passport once I'm back at home in a few more days. That's one step done and closer to really doing it.

I foresee that 2011 will be a very busy year. With all the outdoor activities me and the guys have been planning...futsal, hiking, badminton, fishing, drinking (hehe) and to join all the run or walk or maybe even cycling (mo tunggu si Jew betul2 pi pasang badan tu tulang basikal dia di rumah dlu) that Penang has to offer next year. Or maybe Singapore. Or KL. We'll see about that.

And a busy weeks ahead up until new year. Hmmm.

Life is Good. And not a commercial of LG.

Season of Everything

I  have been playing too much Farm Ville on Facebook lately. Not that I'm bored with nothing to do but I guess it's the season of everything. Christmas season, farming season...you name it.

It's only a week now before going back to Sabah to be with my family and friends. I'm very much looking forward to it. Even though as usual I wish I have more money for everything.

A lot of things have happened this year. I quit my previous job last August and now working in XXX company. So far, I have been quite happy working with the new company although of course there's a few ups and down when you are still a new hire. Quite differently now, I don't really mind working extra late and I have not yet have the dreaded feeling of waking up to work as what I have sometimes felt in my previous company. I guess, it was really a time to change for me. Nothing is ever routine now. Everything is new. There's so  much to catch up and to learn fast. The expectation is high and sometimes I feel stupid. But I'm going to enjoy it as long as I can. Before the curve turn to flat.

And...I'm single again. It was the right thing to do and I'm not going to go into much detail on that.

I still have my own way of seeing life and let me tell you this. Right and wrong is just a matter of opinion. More than often, I'm always optimistic. And I may seems naive at times, but that's my choice. I choose to live like that. There are times when I want to be careful and there are times when I can just accept-no-problem if I'm being cheated into, robbed or tricked. I may not have a strong stance over something that seems a small matter to me or just those things that I don't feel strongly about but for other things that does matter, there's really nothing you can do or say to make me change my mind.

I wrote about doing just two things this year at the start of the year and I'm glad I did it. I definitely want to repeat that resolution and also add those that I already plan in my head.

The year have not even finish yet, but I already have plans for the next coming one. Now that everything seems to go well and to the right direction, all I can think of for next year is to make everything better than it is now. There's a few things I had in mind. And you bet I'll do it all.

For these next few weeks, I just have to give my energy, attention and commitment to the family back at home. Excited much?

Family Trip This Year

A thought about family trip came across my mind just now while surfing through the internet and I was thinking, me and my family never actually done this as an annual thingy. But then, all of a sudden I thought about those unplanned and spontaneous outing we did before and actually yes, we did have it every once in a while.

It maybe a small trip like going to the Poring Hot Spring just for the kids to swim or 'berendam' around or this one time when we went to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park to amuse the kids because they all been taught to love animals, but when I think about it, yeah...it's where me, sist, mom and all the kids got together and I'm happy just thinking about it now.

Maybe this year I should plan about something nicer for all of us. It doesn't have to be fancy and everything as long as the happiness is there. I wonder where we should go. Any suggestion? :)

Jay Baruchel a 5? Come on!

I think he's at least 7.

He's the kind of guy that makes you laugh for real and he's funny even when he's being honest. He really did play the part well.

I was talking about She's Out of My League. I seriously didn't think that I was going to enjoy it as much as I did. The story line may be a bit kind of familiar but the script is fresh and I kind of dig it. Yeah. Haha

You're probably looking at the right side. Nope. Left side. Nice!

The feeling is almost like watching The Proposal which is very original and funny in my opinion of that movie. Except that it's not really the same so you can't really compare between these two. Each is entertaining in their own way.

I'm so going to watch it the second time.

Next, he won't be around at the airport checking metals that set off alarms. He's going to do the coolest job ever. The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Awesome!

Spread The Good Vibe Around

It's the 24th day of February again. And I am very grateful that I am so happy today. One happy person can go a long way you know.

You influence the people around you. They will want to be happy too. Or at least feel less moody. Before you know it, everyone else is having a great day as they bump from one person to another who initially received the blessing of good vibe from you.

So it is my mission the whole day. Now that I'm smiling ear to ear. To spread the positive vibe among people and make them feel that it's not such a bad day after all.

Are you happy yet?

And also to be grateful of the laughter. The tears for touched and heartfelt moments. To be loved so much and to be able to love in return. Put aside everything for a minute and just allow yourself to feel.

To remember never to take anything or anyone for granted.

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost. ~H. Jackson Browne

A new handbag? Absolutely!

29th August 2009

Boarded a flight to KL. Sitting in between an old man and a young lady. Both wearing a face mask. Searched a mask for myself inside the bag but then i realized that i never actually buy one. Arrive in KL, met Alex waiting at KL Central.

Looking around for a cheap-but-nice inn or motel around Bukit Bintang to stay in for the night. Plenty around but finally choose the Bintang Garden Hotel. Went to Mid Valley for lunch while waiting for Lina to arrive from Labuan.

Lina reached KL Central hours later. Took Lina out for lunch (had a second round lunch!) and the not-so-window shopping started after that. Saw so many items and yet so limited time makes me and Lina a wee bit anxious on tossing up between scarfs, smocked waist surplice dress and shorts. Sungei Wang Plaza to Low Yatt Plaza to BB Plaza to Lot 10 to Times Square.

Colin joined us on later. A 3rd round lunch for me and Alex. Whoa~!
Took note that a belly bloated with food is not a very great idea of going hunting for items on sale. Colin and Alex keeps on mentioning the marriage topic over foods. Keep badgering me and Lina as to when we will be getting hitch. Makes me wonder who's the women around there. Me and Lina has long agreed with the idea on not rushing up marriage until we both ready/find our own Mr Really Right. We even contemplated on getting babies on our own without going down the isle. Why? 'cause we sometimes feel that people makes it so complicated just to get married. May as well opt for single decision.

Went on to Laundry Bar at The Curve later that night. Me and Lina had such great time checking on girls and a few men. Don't get me wrong. We simply appreciate great beauty and styles. [wink wink]

30th August 2009

Woke up around 10am and went for a quick not-so-window shopping again before checking out at 12pm and started the journey from Kl Central to LCCT and finally to Penang.

Reached Penang around 4pm and then went straight to Queensbay for another shopping before going to Kayu Nasi Kandar to have Lina first ever Penang nasi kandar after almost 2 years. KC and Lina met for the first time. She likes him and sort of gave me her blessings. [ha ha ha]

Went to Jewin, Wel and Joel's house after that to drink up the Chivas Lina bought from Labuan. Henry and Frankie were already there. The guys consider 1 Liter of Chivas as a nice warm up and we continue for bottles and bottles of beer at Kafe Dusun. It was a really nice session with us catching up and telling stories of our all time favourite childhood games (main biji getah, 'polisentep', kurutut and so on). We later found out that Jewin was the best tree climber among us all as a kid. Siapa paling banyak luka sama dahan paling tinggi dan paling kurus dia dapat naik adalah kriteria pemenang.

That's how we celebrate the countdown of merdeka for Malaya this year and all of us headed home around 4am in the morning.

31st August 2009

Jewin treated Lina and I to a delicious lunch at Victoria Station (Jewin sampai mengantuk-ngantuk mo kasi habis stik kerana suasana sungguh semintel dia cakap :D). The sizes of the steaks were enormous we took more than an hour to finish our meal.

After parting with good bye words to Jewin who's returning to Johor that night, we made our way to Prangin Mall for another round of shopping. Again, shopping with a stomach so full and stuffed was not really a good idea but for the love of skirts and dresses, we still manage to cover Ground Floor up till 3rd floor of the shopping complex. This time, Frankie was with us so while he's looking into a pair of new Levis's jeans, i took my time resting my legs.

Later on that night, we went to Batu Feringghi and bought a few stuff at the long and endless night market stalls. After half way of strolling along the row of stalls, we decided to call it a day. I suggested that Lina should have her much craved Lok Lok so we stopped by Gurney Drive and ate as much as we possibly can and after that go 'melepak' and chit chat for a while at the Gurney Drive. It was around 11.00pm when we decided to head back home respectively.

Needless to say, it's quite a tiring trip with painful foot and aching back not to mention being dehydrated but it was really worth it. :) I really had a good time! Tho, I didn't buy any new handbag as per post title~ [giggle]

I hope you had an awesome merdeka holiday as well. :)

Beautiful Girl

I was walking into the hallway door for usual scanning routine this morning & someone catch up behind me & sing 'beautiful girl'.....from the movie 200 Pounds Beauty, a Korean movie. It was a nice way to start the day & i'm smiling from ear to ear. Not to the fact that the guy sang the song to me indicating that i'm beautiful but because of the small thing as such which can make me in a very good mood so early in the morning. :)

Up to my office & to my desk, i was humming the song in small voice. ;)

By the way, this is a nice & good movie actually. I cried watching it. syyyy.... :D
The sexy Kim Ah Jung has actually went under the knife of plastic surgery just like her role in the movie. No wonder she's so natural & very good in acting it out because she's really been there. People were criticizing, saying bad things to her about the whole plastic surgery thing.

But i don't care. I still love her because she's so talented & she actually can act & sing very well.

Love Is In The Air

I think i'm in love. or infatuation. whatever you call it. maybe it's mutual.....or not. i don't care.

I realize about it deep inside my heart for quite some time already, i just try not to bother about it so much because i know i'll get over it or he'll be off my mind in no time...why? because there's really nothing i can do to make me & Mr Charming together. The option is unthinkable & impossible. And he doesn't even have the same feeling towards me anyway. So, i thought forgetting him would be easy enough.

How wrong i was.

My mind would often wander back at the first time we made eye contact on that particular night. It was quite hard to describe. I heard someone coming from the gate & i tilted my head to look..and found myself face to face with him & for a fraction of second, i saw something flickered in his eyes. Maybe it's just an expression people had over familiarity but i like to think of it as because he felt the chemistry too.

Then he asked me out a few days after that.
I got in the car, he kissed me on the cheek & told me i looked great. That...should be the perfect first date for me. ;) He was & still is the perfect gentleman. He never let me out of sight throughout the night & hold me every now & then just to show that he's there. ;)

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you." said Mr Charming
"Owh..i just need to go to the washroom..." I feebly answered.
"You should have told me & i can walk you there."

I simply stare at him. It actually felt so surreal at that time. No one ever made me felt quite like that before. Well, a perfect gentleman is known to be a rare breed. It's just that there's no pretentious there & it was as if that's how he's always been. His own self that is cool, romantic (in a good way of course) & funny. Plus, he's a very good dancer. We just.....click.

Tell me...How can someone look that good, that charming and not showing typical pretentious at the same time? Owh..i have my fair share of being in & out of relationship...so i'll know right away if the guy is a fake or simply not my type.

Why why & why do i always ended up liking someone who does not feel the way i do...or someone who's not available. Maybe it's true that all the good guys are pretty much taken.

And i'll be seeing him again soon. I know i should stop this while i can. and of course somehow...sooner or later..it really has to stop [isk..] Even right from the start, the relationship spell t-r-o-u-b-l-e. I'll get hurt in the end. But as always, i guess it's worth it for the time being. ;) It's not like i have anything better to do anyway. and as a single most available lady..i can do pretty much anything i wanted to. and also i'm not asking anything from him anyway. just a comfortable & nice company will do. ok...good excuse. clever me. plus it's about time i start seeing someone. or maybe not...not like this..owh God..i'm doomed.

p/s I had a mental argument about posting this entry...but there's a very good chance of me exploding over a build up of uncertainty & confusion.

Yesterday & Today

la la la.....ha ha ha...[grinning shamelessly]

Nothing than this...Chelsea beating up Hull City 3-0 can make my morning any better..After the frustration & sadness for the last match...now i can bring back a big smile on my face. he he he [still grinning like a cat!]

Anyway, a bit moment sharing with what i've been up to yesterday. Went to the Tambun Herbal Sauna for a healthy exercise & calorie burning. [wink2] Then, went to eat seafood at the Floating Seafood Restaurant to celebrate Henry's birthday...the food was yummy & delicious..followed by a few bottles of beer to close the eventfull night..haha so much for my sauna-calorie-fats burning!

Then today, i'm on training for the ISO/TS16949 understanding...gonna hurry up for this post. The training start at 9am!

Later peeps...;)
