Yesterday Once More

Still on last year story...just to share my best final & closing moments to remember of the year 2008. My high school reunion on 19 to 21 Dec at Beringgis Beach Resort with the theme 'Yesterday Once More'.

on 20th....

One word to describe the reunion.
Awesome.

Some seems like they never left high school & a few look ideal for another transformers movie. hehe.. It feels really really great seeing each other again & reminisce the old good times together.

19 Dec - most of us went to the swimming pool to relax first and actually played pool basketball. :D Then we had dinner together that night followed by a karaoke session. Memang masih macam kanak-kanak ribena la kamu semua...haha mula2 semua masing2 kasi kluar bakat terpendam... sgt sporting lg..then last2 semua org menyanyi beramai2, menari poco2 then ada cubaan menari dangdut tp tu lagu 'madu' nda ketahanan utk didengari sebab nda pandai habis tu 'maduuu....maduuu...' hahahha

20 Dec - keesokan harinya, pada awal pagi kami turun ke padang yg berhadapan dengan pantai untuk sesi games...mmg ini la part paling best sy rasa...kamu bygkan sja la games terompah gergasi, berlari dalam karung, bergerak dlm hula hoop, bawa bola ping pong dlm sudu then yg paling funny...sambung2 benda smpi sepa plg panjang...tali pinggang semua kena buka, tali kasut..apa tali lg...cermin mata pun kena kasi baris...skit lagi ada cubaan mau kasi kluar bra...hahha then sepa yg ngam2 ada rokok dlm poket, mcmna jg nda panjang kalau tiap satu (baru lg) batang rokok tu kena kasi kluar sambung2....hahaha then habis sda barang2...sambung badan setiap ahli kumpulan lagi...berabis la stretch mana2 yg patut di stretch...hahah sepa ada ahli grup yg tinggi untung la..abis semua...team sy menang juara keseluruhan...hehe

Petangnya, another games, futsal & volleyball....campur2 sja main..mmg ketawa lebih la..yg penting best...hehe Malamnya, we had a bbq...initially we were imagining the bbq to be somewhat casual & ada kipas mengipas ayam atau kambing atau apa2 haiwan d sana...sekali nya, makanan sda disediakan, dinner formal..tu nama makanan sja pula bbq..bukan tu kejadian...mcmna pun...semua org tetap sporting dan malam itu mmg satu kenangan terindah utk semua...pelbaai confession di buat....hahaha luahan perasaan...dan sharing kenangan paling lucu masa skolah...one best thing to be in a boarding school is that you share almost everything together & you are very close...jadi kenangan2 mmg sgt byk dan bermakna.

21 Dec - All were leaving one by one....those from Labuan were the first to go as they have a long journey ahead. Followed by us which live around KK then those who will be going back to KL... acara peluk memeluk dan kisas2 berlaku lah pada hari itu...hehe semua org berjanji akan turut serta lagi pada reunion akan datang dan pelbagai janji dilemparkan seperti 'nti tahun dpn pny..bersama laki/bini sda aku ni'...atau...'clarice, nti tahun dpn aku mau tgk kau lagi sexy dari ni ok...mcm jessica alba..' (nda guna pny Mail..mentang2 aku gemuk..haha) dan byk lagi la janji2 manis semua org...hehe

Everyone fill in the reunion gold book for anything they wanna say and their details on that particular reunion & those in which status are 'desperate single', 'it's complicated' or 'single and very much available'....hopefully for the next reunion the status will improve...hehe

Thanks guys....biarpun utk cubaan pertama kali reunion ini hanya dlm 20 lbh org yg dpt turut serta (out of 80+ of us in total) dan ada yg hanya dpt dtg separuh hari shj...it was the best thing that happened to me for the year 2008....i miss you guys already...tsk tsk

It's not so paradise after all

Now all my sleepiness or drowsiness earlier today have all gone after one phone call.

Nina just called me and told me everything about what happened. Apparently, the Borneo Paradise (that's where we plan to do our reunion) had just experience change of management. In short, all our previous quotation/inquiry//budget/booking...etc..etc...is not valid anymore...

I was speechless for awhile when Nina told me about this. We have planned about this reunion for like half a year earlier already...dari tahun lepas cadang then volunteer la mau urus start kira2 awal tahun ini...Maybe there's a bit of mistake from our part because we never set a Plan B but still if that place have any respect & value for their customer, they would take all necessary action required. Was it our fault that the management decide to change hands? huh...

Yang bikin panas dia, it was like we never even do any deals with them...setengah tahun sda bincang psl tu tarikh sm durang then tiba2 cakap tu tarikh mcm nda available sda..ada kunun rombongan lain book..Hello? Around June this year the rooms was still very much available..knp la skg penuh..

mm..so we decided to find another alternative place for about only a month left now and if we can get it then it would be great but if we can not get it then terpaksa la stick sja sm ni tempat skg dan bayar lebih...tu pun kalau ada bilik available lagi...dogGONE btl!!

be positive girl....everything can still be settled in time..

p/s If by some miracle we manage to find some place else better for the reunion venue, I'll make sure the Borneo Paradise boss & management get some bloody complaint letter from me. You wait. Because no matter what, "customer always right". And it's goddamn true that we are right in this one.

well, maybe half right. but they still going to get that complaint letter from me.
